A famous ski resort, Chamonix is renowned for its location at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe. Capital of mountaineering, Chamonix is much more than a resort: 10 ski areas make up its valley, an authentic and lively town center and numerous activities are offered in both winter and summer (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, magnificent spa facing Mont-Blanc, hikes to high-altitude lakes, mountain biking, etc.). Other popular tourist spots include the Aiguille du Midi, the starting point for the legendary Vallée Blanche, which invites you to a unique experience at an altitude of 3800m, or the Chemin de Fer du Montenvers, leading to the Mer de Glace. The latter is a 7.5 km long valley of glaciers. Spectacular landscapes can be discovered all year round.
The accommodation is accessible by the Mont Blanc Express train, the "Aiguille du Midi" stop is the closest (5 minutes on foot).
The Chamonix Sud bus stop is also just a few meters away. It takes 15 minutes to reach the slopes of the various ski areas: Brévent Flégère, Les Houches, Le Tour, Les Grands Montets, etc.
